Off the air once again...

Yep, seasonthree is over, and once again Bud and myself are out of a job! Back on the streets! We never actually posted the last episode so expect that to go up sometime soon. Anywho... they´re is some talk of a late January comeback, although that is more than likely incorrect, i wouldnt expect a season to start up once again for a few months yet, late Feb at the earliest. Then again, may be making a move to FM radio.

But never fear as I´ll keep this here updated, with whatever is going on...

The Best of Fired.tk Audio Entertainment Show

Yes, it was a long time in the making but we've done it, we have successfully put together a 'Best of' show. The show marks our 1 year birthday. Can you believe it... and when you listen to the show you see just how well it has aged and changed, and oh boy has it changed.

Remember those cringeworthy songs? No... well in that case we have put together a little collage for you to laugh at us over... plus to finish the show we have the full version of 'I want to be an American Idol'.

Also collages of our interviews to a host of TV stars, reporters, comedians and general ecentrics as well as them calls we used to do every now and again.

The show also features some out-takes and general fun moments from all three season leading up to now... its a strange yet funny trip down memory lane for our more established fans and for all the others, well you get to see where we originated from.

Hope you enjoy, we're back to normal schedule next Saturday...

Show 3 delayed

Hello, due to unforeseen circumstances we are having to re-jig the line up for this season. The 3rd show is being pushed back a week (to Sunday the 26th of November), but an extra show will be added on Saturday 16th of December, just to bring you right up to Christmas.

Although we do bare good news, it looks like season 4 isn’t too long off. The plan, which is as of yet unconfirmed, is that we will return in January for a ten or so week run. Yup, longer season then usual with shorter break than usual. See… sometimes we do deliver the goods around here, just not this week.

Also, figures for the first show are out, slighty lower than originally expected the show was heard by 500 people in (mainly) America, Britain and Ireland. That show (and the entire season) may have a delayed airing on a major online American comedy station, DeadBattery Entertainments are still in talks and if it gets the go-ahead Fired.tk could almost double its listenership!

On a side note, I still havent gotten those drivers lessons.. i must hop to it!! Oh, and i know this is a completely unrelated matter.. but DeadBattery Entertainments now have a photo gallery on the site (www.deadbattery.net), pictures from the Limerick Lions are up at the moment, no doubt the Fired.tk Audio Entertainment Show will get a folder soon.

On a sad note we seemed to have killed Gerald Fraller, the guy selling his soul, after his Fired interview last week his bid took a huge nose dive... if you have a few dollars spare and wouldnt mind owning a pet human put your name in the lottery. heres the site: www.winmysoul.com

And for those bored (seeing as we have no show this week i guess you have some extra time on your hands) let me share you with a funny moment from the show 'Ed', what a great show!!


And for musical entertainment it must be the extremely gifted Damien Rice performing 'Eskimo' from his old album '0', the woman isnt as powerful as the one from the CD, but good none the less:

Yes, ah… the fat man in the ugly orange suit, no the other man… oh woman, sorry… its difficult to tell from here. What’s your question?

Yes, the first show is up and it is available on our website: www.fired.tk and will be for the next few days, making room for our second show. Plus, if you can stay up late enough at 9pm tonight it’ll be making its radio broadcasts worldwide (that’s GMT). Next question…

No, actually Shane Geary has stepped aside and made room for the hilarious Bud, who for legal reasons we cant mention his second name. This was actually quite a last minute adjustment but I’m sure you’ll agree Bud brings a certain new life to the show and although we have issues with his voice projection from his cell that should be improved for next week.

Ah, No comment.
