Fine Gael, Driving and of course Fired!
Ok, I can see a trend thats going to develop here... instead of me updating both the site and here, I’ll probably leave www.fired.tk alone. I'll try not to, but more than likely I'll start with the right intention, go to update the site, then say 'aww.. feck this' and leave it alone.Anywho... news for the show? It looks like a few more comedians will be coming on board to provide for the show which is great, also director Dermot Petty is working on a piece for the show.. looks like we'll have a lot of material to choose from.
Yes, i was talking to John Caplis (a comedian who'll be on the show but also runs a comedy club in Limerick city) and it seems I, John Buckley, will be performing stand up comedy at Dolans. I dont know how that came about, the answer i was going for was 'No' but he was saying about promotion of the show, and then hung up before i cold gather my thoughts. Oh dear god, I'm hoping for roughly a three minute set... how do I get myself into these things?!?!

Just had to laugh, the one thing i thought was 'their going to work as hard as me, jesus NOTHING will get done... i better vote Fianna Fail' the desired effect? i think not
Driving update:
OK, so after i had my cert, i got the pictures taken, got my passport, filled out the form, got €15 together and went on my merry little way to get my licence. Although it seems Limerick has a by-law, which prevented me from getting my licence without having an eye test done. So I went to an optician and had to book it, at that stage its all good!!! What i didnt realise was that the night before the day of my test i had an 18th to go to, and oh boy.. did i go to that 18th, i went ALL THE WAY!
Next morning i wake up, roll out of bed and head down to the opticians, at this stage i cant really focus on anything, not a good sign some may say!?! Well i sat in the chair and he told me he that the test was basically just a quick check on my reflexes. Now thats never a good thing to hear when your at the stage where your drunk, but the hangover is just starting to creep in, least of all when a driving licence is on the line. Anywho, to cut a long story in three quarters, i passed the test. If i in my semi conscious state can pass the test, i hate to see how bad anybody would have to be to fail it!
I later applied and am now waiting for my licence to come in the post!!!
